Pocket Watch

I decided to draw the pocketwatch from Boo Radley from To Kill a Mockingbird.

It was one of the gifts in the tree that were from Boo. In some way, the pocketwatch characterized Boo Radley. His character intrigued me in the first part of the book. The pocketwatch symbolized Boo Radley's care for the children, especially for Jem. Watches were usually a family heirloom, passed down from father to son. The fact that the pocketwatch given to the children was broken symbolized Boo Radley's broken family, which was caused by his father.
